Parliament speaker: Iran never to let anyone meddle in its affairs
Tehran, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran under no circumstances will let anyone meddle in its affairs and mind to resolve its issues with reliance on its own nation.
Speaking in the parliament's open session, Larijani said the Americans are more defamed to feel pity for the Iranian nation.
Massive turnout of the Iranian nation in 'Ten Day Dawn' marking the 39th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran purely indicated the vigilance and due attention of the Iranian people under such sensitive circumstances.
Once again the great Iranian nation surprised those creating media hype to prove the nobility of its revolution, he said.
'We do advise all politicians, political parties and media to safeguard this national achievement and avoid being trapped in political hue and cry,' Larijani said.
The society has suffered from political disputes, he added.
Different commissions in the parliament should pursue public demands through a defined timetable and cast a much deeper look over problems, Larijani said.
