Part of Iran’s frozen funds released in several countries: Vaezi
Head of Presidential Office Mahmoud Vaezi said on Tuesday that parts of Iran’s frozen funds in several countries have been released, noting that the amount will be used in the remittances section of the Central Bank of Iran to address the concerns and problems of importers.
Talking to IRNA, he commented on the declining trend of the exchange rate and the return of calm to the market.
He said the turmoil in the foreign exchange market is more of a psychological and emotional war from outside and several centers, such as Dubai and Sulaymaniyah, that was created by a number of brokers and money changers in the foreign exchange market.
