Persepolis athletes in Tokyo for AFC Champions League final

Beijing, Tehran's Persepolis team arrived at Tokyo International Airport Narita in the form of the AFC Champions League final, welcomed by Iranian ambassador to Japan.

In this ceremony, Morteza Rahmani Movahed, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Japan, along with embassy staff, Iranian school students, a number of interested Iranians with a welcome banner and signboard, warmly welcomed Persepolis football team.

Persepolis team, after welcoming ceremony at the airport, went to the MyStays Hotel Narita to relax after a long journey and preparing for practice.

The first leg match of Persepolis and Kashima Antlers in the AFC Champions League Final will be held at 13:30 (Tehran time) on Saturday, November 3th, at the Kashima Soccer Stadium in Ibaraki, Japan.

The stadium, which has a capacity for 40,000 spectators, is one of the venues for the 2002 World Cup and also hosts Kashima games at the J LEAGUE competitions.
