PLO: Destroying Khan al-Ahmar village war crime
Tehran, Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) declared a Zionist court ruling to annihilate and expel residents of the village of al-Khan al-Ahmar in the occupied eastern Qods as a war crime.
The organization warned against violations of the international laws and resolutions in the village.
The member of the executive committee of the PLO and head of the human rights and civil society section of the organization Ahmad al-Tamimi, announced that the ruling of the occupying regime of Israel on Wednesday to annihilate and expel residents of the village of al-Khan al-Ahmar is an attempt to mislead the public and conceal the intention of the regime.
He called on the world and the Arab-Islamic countries, the Human Rights Council and the United Nations to take immediate measures to stop the dangerous decisions of Israel and the continued violation of international law.
Al-Tamimi called on the Palestinian people to maintain their unity and solidarity to overthrow this ruling.
Zionist Supreme Court issued a verdict on Wednesday, denouncing the protests against the decision of the regime to destroy the village of Khan al-Ahmar, allowing the Zionist authorities to demolish the poor village after 7 days.
The village is located east of the West Bank, near the two Jewish settlements. The inhabitants of this slum dwellers are mostly living with livestock.
The United Nations, the European Union and Palestinian rights activists, had condemned the Zionist regime's decision to destroy the village as a new obstacle to the possible creation of a Palestinian state.
