Police confiscates some 404 kg opium in Sirjan-Isfahan route

Kerman, Police Commander in Sirjan Colonel Mohammad Reza Iran-nejad said on Monday that police confiscated some 404 kilograms opium craftily hidden in a trailer in the route connecting Sirjan to Isfahan Province.

Speaking to IRNA, Iran-nejad said over one ton of various drug narcotics were confiscated from traffickers while over 100 traffickers were arrested in the period.

Sirjan is located 170 kilometer southwest of Kerman Province connecting Fars, Kerman, Hormozgan and Yazd provinces.
