Polish lawyer lauds security, hospitality and kindness in Iran
Yazd, Hospitality, kindness and security are unique in Iran, a Polish lawyer Krzysztof Urbanniak said expressing satisfaction over his trip to Iran.
Urbanniak made the remarks in an exclusive interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Wednesday.
He left Tehran for Yazd to attend Muharram mourning rituals and is scheduled to visit Iranian cities of Shiraz, Kashan, Qom and Tabriz.
European media always focus on Iran nuclear program and show a dangerous and insecure image of Iran, he said, rejecting the media campaigns.
Mu?arram is the first month of the Islamic calendar. It is one of the four sacred months of the year. The tenth day of Muharram is known as the Day of Ashura, part of the Mourning of Muharram for Shia Muslims and a day of fasting for Sunni Muslims. Shia Muslims mourn the death of Imam Hussein (A.S) and his family, respecting the sacrifice of the martyrs by praying in abundance and refraining from all joyous events.
