President of Russian Duma underlines increase in economic ties of Iran, Russia
Tehran, Chairman of Russia State Duma Viaceslav Volodin pointed to the importance of increase in economic relations between Moscow and Tehran and acknowledged that the issue will be proposed in joint high commission of parliaments in Volgograd in Autumn.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of Iran and Russia trade conference, and said that it was a useful and good gathering between Iranian and Russian businessmen and both chambers of commerce of Iran and Russia, which created such opportunity, should be appreciated.
Volodin said that economic cooperation between the two parliaments are so important and in priority, addind that Russia has special consideration for progress and strengthening of economic contacts.
Chairman of the Russia State Duma said that contacts between different regions and provinces of the two countries have special importance for progress in economic cooperation.
Viaceslav Volodin, who is in Tehran, met Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and President Hassan Rouhani on Monday.
