Riyadh The Saudi Billiard and Snooker Federation's President, Dr. Nasser Al-Shammari, opened the international course for billiards and snooker referees today at the federation's training headquarters in Riyadh, with the participation of 16 male and female referees, which is organized by the Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation in cooperation with the Leaders Development Institute and on the sidelines of the Asian Under-17 Billiards Championship for Women which opens next Monday.Delivering a speech at the opening ceremony, Al-Shammari said that more than 11 male Saudi referees and five Saudi female referees have obtained the international badge for the first time in the history of sports federations, indicating that such courses help to refine and develop the work of male and female referees.Source: Saudi Press Agency
