Tashkent: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received today Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohammed Albudaiwi.During the meeting, the two sides discussed the existing cooperation relations between the GCC and the Republic of Uzbekistan and ways to enhance and develop them.Albudaiwi stated that his meeting with the President of Uzbekistan aligns with the aspirations of the GCC member states' leaders to strengthen and enhance bonds with friendly countries and create broader areas of cooperation in matters of mutual interest. He also expressed optimism about developing the existing cooperation frameworks to include broader horizons for strategic partnerships between the GCC and Uzbekistan.
