Riyadh: Representing President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, his deputy Prince Fahd bin Jalawi, chairman of the education committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), participated in the 43rd OCA General Assembly meeting held today in Bangkok, Thailand.On the sidelines of the General Assembly meeting, Prince Fahd held a meeting with the newly elected President of the National Olympic Committee of Iraq, Aqeel Muftin, where he emphasized the importance of advancing the memorandum of understanding signed between the Olympic committees of the two countries.Prince Fahd also met with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, Gennadiy Golovkin, to discuss relations between the Olympic committees of the two countries and cooperation, particularly in winter sports.Additionally, he met with Otabek Umarov, the vice-president of the OCA, to discuss projects between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the council.Source: Saudi Press Agency
