Public prosecutor: Nuclear spy sentenced to 6 years in jail

Tehran, Feb 4, IRNA - Tehran's Public and Revolution Courts Prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said on Sunday that the nuclear spy has been sentenced to six years of imprisonment.

The spy had met nine times with a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent to hand over various dossiers about economic sanctions and Iran's peaceful nuclear activities to him, he said.

The spy also had transferred the documents to a European country, Jafari Dolatabadi said.

The spy is sentenced to six years in prison and his assets have also been confiscated, he said.
