Quds Day rallies big blow to Zionist regime: Official

Tehran, Quds Day rallies which are held annually around the world is a big blow to Zionist regime, a senior Iranian official said on Friday

Every year, on the last Friday of holy month of Ramadan, people of the world attend Quds Day ceremonies to condemn the Zionist regime's oppression against Palestinians and this is a big blow to this regime, head of the Intifada (Uprising) and Quds Center at Iran's Islamic Propagation Coordination Council told a gathering of people before start of Friday prayers speech in the capital, Tehran.

Ramezan Sharif noted that naming the last Friday of holy month of Ramadan as the Quds Day by the late founder of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini damaged the Zionist regime's main strategy.

He referred to the high turnout of Palestinian youth in the recent protest demonstrations in the occupied lands and said that this shows the Palestinian cause is still alive.
