Resistance foils plots against Quds: Palestinian politician
Beirut, Resistance will neutralize all the plots and attempts against the Palestine cause and Quds identity, a senior Palestinian politician said.
In an interview with Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), representative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in Lebanon Marwan Abdul Aal said that Quds for the Palestinians and the Muslim world is not like other cities, rather, it is a reflection of culture, history and symbols.
Referring to the collaboration of some Arab states with the Zionist regime and the US, the provocative measures such as relocation of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Quds, and the stance of the US on the Palestine-Israel conflict, he said, 'All such plots against Quds are doomed to failure.'
'The resistance has always been strengthened despite all the evil attempts to confront it and purge the reality and memories,' he said.
Referring to the 11-week protests by the Palestinians in Gaza Strip known as the Great March of Return, Abdul Aal said that Palestinians in Gaza have managed to set a new equation for the US-Israeli coalition with reactionary Arab states.
Since late March when the protests in Gaza demanding return to their occupied territories and objecting to the 11-year blockade on Gaza began, at least 115 Palestinians have been killed by live munitions of Israeli forces, and thousands have been injured.
