Tehran, Aug 7, President Hassan Rouhani emphasized on Monday that Iran and Zimbabwe capitalize on capacities and opportunities available to benefit their people.
'Iranian people have always regarded their Zimbabwean peers as to be resilient, resistant and friendly,' President Rouhani said in a meeting with Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe.
The people of Zimbabwe have fought for their independence and they continue to do so, said the President adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran has enjoyed satisfactory ties with the African nation since after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
