Russia, France discuss Iran Deal
Moscow, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Ryabkov and Director of the Private Office of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Emmanuel Bonne met to discuss the Iran's nuclear Deal.
The two officials concentrated on the prospects of the further implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), known as the Iran Deal, on May 15, after US withdrawal.
The Russian diplomat emphasized Moscow's commitment to the landmark agreement.
The Russian and French presidents, Vladimir Putin and Emanuel Macron, talked on the phone about the JCPOA, and said that both countries are committed to it.
Putin also informed Macron about his talks with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukio Amano that took place in Suchi, eastern Russia.
