Russia: Trade with Iran up by 30%
Moscow, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin said on Thursday that Iran-Russia transactions have surged by 30 percent compared to that of last year.
In a meeting with Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Thursday, he added that Tehran-Moscow relations are growing and surge in commercial ties has come to the fore due to dynamism of bilateral ties.
What is important now is that the decisions be discussed at parliamentary level to become laws, he said.
Iran-Russia Joint Parliament Commission was held in Volgograd with Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and Iran's Ambassador in Moscow and Volodin in attendance.
