Russia warns on violation of JCPOA

Tehran Russia warned the world on the negative consequences of violations to nuclear deal reached between Tehran and the six world powers (the US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany) and insisted that all parties should remain committed to the agreement.

The deal's failure 'is fraught with very negative and hard-to-predict consequences for the entire non-proliferation system and the entire world order',' Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday, according to the Russian news agency Tass.

Iran and the major world powers signed a nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in July 2015. Under the agreement, Iran accepted to curb its nuclear program in exchange for economic sanctions relief.

Despite the support of all signatories, and several reports by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in verifying Iran's commitment to the deal, the US government led by President Donald Trump has been trying to kill it.

Trump has recently warned that the US will withdraw from the deal if the parts that he calls them 'disastrous flaws' would not fixed.

Iran has said that it would not accept any renegotiating of the deal.
