S. Arabia denies role in Ahvaz terrorist attack
Doha, After a lapse of four days since the outbreak of Ahvaz terror attack, an official with Saudi Arabia Foreign Ministry rejected Riyadh's part in the deadly incident.
The terror attack during a military parade in the southwestern city of Iran drew criticism form the global community and international institutes, as 30 countries expressed solidarity with the Iranian nation over the incident.
While the terrorist attack in Ahvaz left 24 dead and over 60 wounded, Saudi officials did not show reaction to the incident despite the fact that different countries including Riyadh allies issued statements in condemnation of the attack and sympathized with those affected.
Saudi Arabia state news agency said that the country's policy is based on noninterference in other countries' affairs, rejecting any role in the recent incident.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the official claimed that Iran is meddling in other countries' internal affairs, calling for a change in its approach.
