Salehi: Iran, Japan to broaden nuclear cooperation
Tehran, Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan are to broaden and continue security cooperation on nuclearrelated activities.
Speaking with Japanese news agency Kyodo, he said despite mounting international pressures exerted by the US and their efforts to isolate Iran from the international community, Japan minds to continue cooperation on energy security with Iran as they believe that such cooperation should not be halted under any circumstances.
Since any incident can leave negative impacts on their neighboring countries, the international community should be accountable to continue cooperation on security of nuclearrelated activities, Salehi said.
