Sound bomb goes off in SE Iran

Zahedan, A sonic grenade was detonated on Tuesday night in Aspich District, Saravan, in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, the deputy governor of the province said.

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Mohammad Hadi Marashi said that the explosion had no casualties or damage to properties.

Officials are after finding more details about the accident, he said.

Earlier an acoustic device went off on Friday morning in Saravan, breaking windows of a few nearby buildings.

Saravan is close to Pakistan border with Iran.
