Speaker urges all to attend election
– Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf highlighted Wednesday the role of people in the society and said anyone who loves Iran will attend the upcoming presidential election.
Anyone who is concerned about the future of the next generation and the country's children will participate in the election, Qalibaf said at the beginning of Majlis open session this morning.
People can change any conditions however difficult it is, the speaker noted.
He further warned against chorusing with the enemies.
"Nation's will can create social miracle."
Iran’s 13th presidential election will be held simultaneously with the sixth round of municipal council elections for the cities and villages, the first mid-term for 11th round of parliamentary by-election, and the second mid-term for the fifth round of Assembly of Experts' election on June 18.
On May 25, Iran’s Ministry of Interior released the names of seven presidential hopefuls who have been qualified by the Guardian Council.
