Sweden condoles with families of Ahvaz terror attack victims

Tehran, Swedish Ambassador to Tehran Helena SAngeland in a message expressed condolences over the recent deadly attack in southwester Iran.

'The #terrorist attack in #Ahwaz has claimed at least 25 lives and 60 injured, including civilians. My heartfelt condolences go out to the victims' families and our thoughts are with all affected by this heinous attack,' SAngeland wrote in her Twitter account.

At least 25 people, including women and children, were killed and more than 60 others injured during September 22 terror attack in Ahvaz which took place during a military parade held to mark the 38th anniversary of an eight-year imposed war against Iran.

The self-proclaimed Saudi-affiliated Al-Ahwaz terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.

About thirty countries have so far condemned the terror attack in Iran.

Earlier Intelligence Ministry in a statement announced identification of perpetrators of September 22 terror attack in Ahvaz.
