Syrian Army Troops Destroy ISIS Tunnels in Deir Ezzor City
The Syrian army's engineering units detonated two tunnels used by the ISIS (Daesh / ISIL) terrorist group for transferring forces and equipment in Deir Ezzor's districts.

The Syrian military forces planted a large volume of explosives under the tunnels in al-Orfi and Bour al-Saeed districts and detonated them, leaving a number of militants dead and many more wounded.
Also, Syrian military forces warded off ISIL's offensive on government forces' positions Southeast of Deir Ezzor city on Monday, inflicting heavy losses on the militants.
The army soldiers repelled ISIL's attack on their strongholds in al-Jafrah region, killing most of the terrorists and destroying three of their vehicles.
In the meantime, the army men stormed ISIL's centers in Huweija al-Sakar Southeast of Deir Ezzor city, leaving a number of militants dead.
Also, over 30 terrorists were killed and large volume of their equipment were destroyed in the army's 3-day-long operation in the neighborhood of al-Sina'ah, areas surrounding the Deir Ezzor airbase, and the oilfields of Koniko and al-Yatim; FNA reported.
