Syrian Army Troops Win Control over 75% of Key District Northeast of Aleppo
Syrian Army troops and popular forces continue to storm Jeish al-Fatah's centers in Bostan al-Pasha district, capturing more residential areas, a military source said on Sunday, adding that at least 75 percent of the district is under the full control of the government forces.
"The army soldiers and resistance fighters intensified attacks on Jeish al-Fatah's positions and took back 10 more residential complexes, killing over 20 militants," the source said, adding, "Over three out of Four Bostan al-Pasha district areas are under the control of the army men now."
In the meantime, army soldiers managed to advance against the militants across the flank towards Sheih Najjar industrial zone and captured a large number of buildings.
Syrian fighter jets, for their part, pounded terrorists' positions in Hananou Housings, destroying 10 vehicles of militants.
Also, the Syrian fighter jets destroyed Jeish al-Fatah's largest arms and ammunition depot in Aleppo province in heavy airstrikes on Saturday.
The Syrian warplanes were tipped off by the country's intelligence forces about the exact location of the arms depot in Madajen al-Kiyali near the village of Tal Hadieh Southwest of Aleppo and destroyed it completely, an army officer said.
He also pointed out that several terrorists who were inside and near the arm depot were killed in the air raid, FNA reported.
