Tehran, Jakarta enjoying amicable ties: Iran envoy
Kuala Lumpur, Tehran and Jakarta have always enjoyed friendly relations after the victory of Islamic Revolution in 1979, Iran's top diplomat in Jakarta said on Friday.
Addressing a ceremony in Jakarta to mark anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Iranian Ambassador to Indonesia Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi stressed the significance of fostering all-out bilateral ties with Indonesia.
Iran's has gained huge achievements in the scientific and technology arenas, he added, and is ready to increase its relations and exchange experiences with Indonesia.
He pointed to the two countries' historic relations, ahd said, the Islamic Iran's culture and civilization have also influenced Indonesia throughout the history.
