Tehran, Madrid to discuss ties in Spanish FM’s Tehran visit
Tehran, Spanish Foreign Minister Alfonso Dastis heading a political and commercial delegation is scheduled to visit Tehran on Wednesday.
Dastis is expected to visit Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad-Javad Zarif and other Iranian top officials.
Iranian ambassador to Spain Mohammad-Hassan Fadaei-Fard said that the visit will take place with the goal of expanding the ties between the two countries.
The visit is going to be the beginning of a positive change in the ties between the two countries, he said.
The visit was to be made in October 2017, the envoy added, but due to the Catalonia independence referendum, it was delayed.
