Thousands Escaped Terrorists by Syrian Army Advancement
Videos show thousands of residents from eastern Aleppo streaming into the Kurdish-controlled Sheikh Maqsoud district of the city after the Syrian army and its allies drove rebels from a strategically important area of eastern Aleppo.
More than 2,500 people, including over 800 children were transported to safer areas.
Many of the internally displaced people expressed their gratitude to the Russian and Syrian troops.
People were provided with food supplies to last them several days.
The areas captured by Syrian government troops include 10 neighbourhoods and over 3,000 buildings in the past few days.
