Turkey to remain with Tehran: Report

Tehran, The Arabiclanguage service of Sky News website on Monday pointed to the positive relations between Iran and Turkey, and said that Turkey supports Tehran in spite of the US antiIran sanctions.

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continues to insist on staying with Iran in the face of the US sanctions, IRNA reported.

In this regard, Turkish experts believe that the Justice and Development Party (AKP) maneuvers through its regional ties, including relations with Iran, and tries to get points from the parties at the same time.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also recently criticized the US antiIran positions, and said the European Union is also in agreement with Ankara.

Turkey's foreign minister stressed the importance of economic ties between the two countries, and said that Washington's sanctions would also influence Turkey, and Ankara is working hard to dissuade the United States from sanctions.

Cavusoglu stressed that 'we do not have to adhere to other antistate sanctions, and we do not see these sanctions right'.
