Baghdad, The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of two accused in drug cases in Karbala Governorate.The Ministry stated in a statement: 'To eliminate the scourge of drugs, the Fifth Brigade/Rapid Response Division was able to arrest two defendants in accordance with the provisions of Article (28 Drugs) in Karbala Governorate, in cooperation and coordination with the Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in the governorate and with intelligence efforts from the Department of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances of the Division Intelligence, they were found in their possession of light weapons and a quantity of equipment, and they were handed over to the competent authorities fundamentally.'Source: National Iraqi News Agency
