UAE spy drone crashes in central Yemen

Tehran, A United Arab Emirates (UAE) spy drone crashed in Ma'rib province in central Yemen.

The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed east of Ma'rib city shortly after its take off from the base of anti-Yemen Saudi-led coalition in Ma'rib province.

The UAE forces have made no comment on the incident, IRNA reported quoting Russia's Sputnik news agency.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly, indiscriminate airstrikes on civilians in an attempt to restore power to fugitive president, Abd-Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly Saudi aggression.
