UN Chief condemns Kabul suicide attack
New York, July 25, The United Nations Secretary-General strongly condemned the recent suicide attack in Kabul saying that attack on civilians is the violation of humanitarian law.
Antonio Guterres in a statement on Monday said that the deliberate targeting of civilians constitutes a grave violation of human rights and international humanitarian law and may constitute a war crime.
He also expressed sympathy with the families of the victims of the incident.
A suicide attack on Monday targeted an area in the western Kabul which killed at least 20 civilians and injured more than 40. The terrorist group Taliban claimed the responsibility.
