US blocks 27 domains of Iranian websites

– The United States Department of Justice blocked 27 domains of Iranian websites on Thursday morning to stop Iran’s communication with the world. The US Department of Justice wrote in his official website that these domain names have been used to further Iran’s global influence. It claimed that Iran has “unlawfully” the domains for “a global covert influence campaign”, adding that they have been used by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC). This is while the US has unilaterally withdrawn from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) despite the opposition by the international community, including permanent members of the UN Security Council and Washington’s allies, and started to restore all the sanctions and pressures lifted by the UN Security Council Resolution 2231 which also endorsed the JCPOA.
