US’ policy to continue animosity towards Iran
Tehran, The White House rulers have begun to pursue certain policies in the global context, including hostility towards Iran, Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said.
Bahram Qasemi reiterated at a news conference on Monday that the Americans are trying to create problems in Iran's foreign relations with other states and their attempt was to create a huge rift among the Europeans, so that Europe cannot get into a united voice that followed in the past and cannot move forward.
The spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry highlighted, 'Therefore, the Americans have emphasized some of the new European countries, such as Poland, and with the help of these countries and arranging such meetings, they want to have an anti-Iranian movement.
'In this regard, Poland's charge d'affaires has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and we have not reacted passively and announced our protest and will be summed up in the next few days, and we will announce the outcome,' the official added.
He emphasized Iran does not allow others to work on false pretexts and under the claim of legitimate titles try to undermine Iran.
The spokesman specified, 'Poland definitely has the right to hold a conference in its own country, but it has no right to hold its conference in a way that is against an independent state (Iran) that has longstanding relations with. The existence of more than 120,000 Poles in the Second World War in Iran who were displaced by war and the Iranian people sheltered them a sign of the humanity of the Iranian people, requires that Polish authorities should note behave like this.
He added, The question is why they want to raise the issue of Iran at the conference, but they do not want to refer to the issue of Palestine. Why does not this meeting come up against the brutal behavior of some countries and the massive crimes that have taken place in recent years?
Qasemi stated, 'Poland has the right, but this right does not mean that it selectively meets the goals of the powers and other countries that seek hostility towards others.'
