US seeking excuse for insecurity in region: Iraqi figure
Baghdad, The head of the executive council of the Islamic resistance group Harakat Hezbollah alNujaba said that the United States is looking for excuses to create insecurity in Iraq and the rest of region.
Nasr alShammari condemned American policies of making tensions and said that Washington is now pursuing a pretext to fuel unrest in the region and Iraq.
The Iraqi official also voiced alNujaba movement's readiness to respond to any hostile US action.
'Our battle with the United States will continue until the end of their occupation, as well as the destruction of the usurper regime (of Israel) in the region,' he said.
Referring to recent tensions between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, he noted, 'The Iraqi government must not forget that in the most difficult period, when most of the countries and more importantly, the US left us alone in fighting the ISIS, Iran was helping us.'
