Use of Chemical Weapons by Terrorists During Attacks in Aleppo – Militia
A local militia's member told media that terrorists used chemical weapons during attacks in Syria's Aleppo.
Terrorists attacked Syrian army's positions in Aleppo's south-west using rockets with poisonous gas, the militia source told RIA Novosti.
"Militants fired self-made rockets with poisonous gas at us and the [Syrian] military near the Al-Asad [military] academy. It is difficult to say which particular chemical was used," the source said.
Al-Nusra Front terrorists and some Syrian terror groups launched an offensive in Aleppo's south-west on Friday.
For three days, terrorists have been attacking Syrian army's units. Two attacks have been so far repelled; Syrian government forces managed to retake their positions in the 1070 district overnight.
Militants have also been shelling residential areas in western and central parts of Aleppo since Friday.
According to medical workers, at least 15 people were killed and 150 wounded. On Saturday, militants in Aleppo carried out attacks on the Al-Asad military academy and Bustan az-Zakhra district, a militia source told media.
According to militia's data, militants may soon launch an offensive in the north-west of Aleppo near the Castello Road, Sputnik reported.
