Video games production improves in Iran
Tehran, Iranian video games have grown in market share, quality and quantity in the past few years, said the minister of Culture in Majlis (the Iranian Parliament) on Wednesday.
'We need to promote games production in Iran to help our culture and economy,' said Abbas Salehi, who was in Majlis to answer a question asked by a parliamentarian.
Saying that production of video games has grown more than 100% in two years, he added, 'Iranian games are inspected and classified according to age groups.'
Salehi also said that 3,400 console games and more than 18,000 mobile games have been classified so far.
