West unable to scare Iran: IRGC official
Kashan, Today, the West is not able of terrifying Iran, spokesman for the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Monday evening.
Today, the enemies' threats cannot destroy the Islamic Republic's strength which has been guaranteed by the blood of the country's martyrs, Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif said at a local ceremony in this central Iranian province.
Talking of the fresh US bans which went into effect from November 5, Sharif said, Nothing will happen, and the people will breeze through the economic sanctions.
Iran can successfully overcome the economic problems as it hit the peak of military power during the sanctions era (before 2015), the IRGC official said.
Despite the world's criticism over Washington's antiIran measures, US President Donald Trump reinstated unilateral sanctions on Tehran on November 5 and imposed as he claimed the highest level of economic bans on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Most observers believe that sanctioning Iran's oil for a longterm period will hike up the oil price and weaken US dollar in the international arenas, which will ultimately lead to the US defeat and its withdrawal from its unilateral decisions.
