Yemeni Army Attack Pounds Down Saudi Military Bases in Jizan
in retaliation of recent killings of civilians by Saudi the Yemeni army launched attacks against Saudi military bases in the kingdom's southwestern province of Jizan.
The artillery units of the Yemeni army and popular committees hit Saudi several military bases in Jizan, including al Mahrooq, al-Masirah TV reported on Thursday.
The units also targeted supply lines to the Saudi military forces in the border province, according to the report.
The attacks came after Saudi warplanes recently targeted civilian areas in Yemen's northwestern Saada province, killing and injuring several people, Tasnim reported.

In March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been launching deadly attacks against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
According to UN estimates, over 10,000 Yemenis, including 4,000 women and children, have lost their lives in the Saudi and its allies and mercenaries military campaign on Yemeni people.
