Yemeni army shoots down 2 Saudi spy drones
The air defense units of the Yemeni army and popular forces shot down two Saudi spy drones on Monday, Almasirah news network reported.
Almasirah said one drone was downed in Jizan, south of Saudi Arabia and the other in the western coast of AlHudaydah Province.
Earlier on Saturday, the Yemeni army 's air defense unit had downed another Saudi drone in Jizan region.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni army forces in an operation in AL Jawf Province Monday night killed scores of mercenaries affiliated to the Saudiled Arab coalition.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the government of former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi back to power and crushing the country's Houthi Ansarullah movement.
Some 16,000 Yemenis have been killed and thousands more injured since the onset of the Saudiled aggression.
