Zarif diplomatic meetings in Tehran on Monday
Tehran, July 31, South Africa's Deputy Foreign Minister Nomaindiya Mfekheto met with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif here on Monday afternoon.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to expand mutual cooperation.
Zarif expressed hope that joint economic commission meetings to be held in an appropriate time to deepen ties between the two countries.
Strengthening banking cooperation between Iran and South Africa is to prepare grounds for development of bilateral relations in other sectors.
Mfekheto underlined firm intention of South Africa to expand and deepen ties with Iran and expressed hope that preliminary works for visit of South African president to Iran to be prepared.
Also, Zarif received new Serbian ambassador to Tehran, who submitted copy of his credentials to the foreign minister.
