Zarif lauds EU/E3 JCPOA tour
Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message welcomed his recent meeting with heads of EU, Germany, the UK and France.
Constructive meeting with EU High Rep and E3 ministers in Brussels, following successful Beijing and Moscow visits, Zarif wrote on his Twitter account Wednesday.
Positive start with solid political commitments. All agreed that much remains to be done in coming weeks to practically guarantee economic benefits for Iranian people, he added.
Zarif was in Beijing on Sunday and held talks with Chinese officials, including his counterpart Wang Yi, on Iran nuclear deal.
On Monday Iranian Foreign Minister reviewed Iran nuclear deal with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.
After Moscow, he traveled to Brussels to continue the JCPOA-related talks in the aftermath of the US walkaway from the key international deal.
Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi had said that Zarif would embark on an intensive tour of China, Russia and Belgium to explore ways of preserving the JCPOA's with Europe and other parties to the deal.
He added that Zarif will leave for China, Russia and the seat of European Union at the order of President Hassan Rouhani to exchange views with Europe and other parties to the JCPOA on the survival of the deal following US' exit.
