Zarif: Netanyahu firsters after pushing wars forever
Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister in a message said despite the US Congress demand to end war in Yemen, the advocates of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are seeking to continue forever.
'Even the US Congress wants to put an end to @CENTCOM's destabilizing activities in #Yemen,' Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on his Twitter account on Wednesday.
He added 'But petrofinanced #NetanyahuFirsters and their enabler in the White House will continuewith American lives and against the US intereststo push for forever wars.
Earlier, Zarif recommended that Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) should add American forces in West Asia, known as the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), to its terrorist groups' list.
In a letter to President Hassan Rouhani, he also called for a retaliatory move by labeling the United States Central Command as a terrorist organization and the US government as a terrorist sponsor.
Zarif described the move as 'another misguided electioneve gift to Netanyahu'.
