Zarif’s diplomatic acumen, Establishment’s support annul UN resolutions: Diplomat
Tehran, Diplomatic capabilities of Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif and his team, and the support from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani led to the lifting of UN sanction resolutions on Iran, said Iran's former envoy in London.
'The JCPOA [in full: Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action], was a sensitive case, which had some dissidents [inside Iran] and in international level, the Zionists and some rivals of Iran tried to throw wrench in it,' Jalal Sadatian told the Islamic Republic New Agency (IRNA) about the Supreme Leader's appreciation of Zarif and his stances against the West.
Sadatian said that US President Donald Trump, under the influence of the Zionist lobby, had the most opposition to the JCPOA, adding Prime Minister of the Zionist regime Benjamin Netanyahu would like to force Trump intio a war with Iran, but Trump seems smarter than him; Trump needs an accomplice. He doesn't want to tread the way all by himself.
He said Zarif's entering the US to the talks along with the other negotiators and signing such a firm agreement is where he should be appreciated. No matter how hard Trump tries, ha cannot find a way to quit the deal.
Sadatian said now that they have not been able to stop the deal, Israel and the Saudis have formed a new coalition to disrupt the JCPOA.
They seek to get the support of the Europeans as they have the American's, so Iran needs to be very careful, he added.
