Zero hour arriving for Hezbollah-Syrian Army operation in Dara’a
Terrorist groups' positions in Dara'a are under the Syrian Army's heavy fire, as the pro-government forces, including the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement, are standing for order to launch the final battle in the Southern city, a military source said on Monday.
(FNA) -- The source said that simultaneous with the dispatch of hundreds of fresh army soldiers and a large of volume of military equipment to Dara'a province, Hezbollah has sent a large number of fighters to the Southern province.
The source added that Hezbollah's fresh fighters will join the Syrian army men to launch a large-scale operation to drive Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board) out of Dara'a al-Balad district and al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Dara'a city.
Another military source said the Dara'a city military operation by the army forces and Hezbollah fighters is set to begin in the coming days to expel the remaining militants from the city, as the pro-government forces are getting ready to recapture the entire Southern half of the city that is currently under the control of the terrorists.
The source further added that the army's artillery and missile units have shelled several times terrorists' strongholds in Dara'a al-Balad and al-Manshiyeh.
The source went on to say that the terrorist groups have launched several rounds of attacks on army positions in Dara'a to delay their final operation, but the militants have suffered heavy defeats each time, and have lost a number of fighters and military hardware.
Relevant reports said on Wednesday that another convoy of the Syrian army forces arrived in Dara'a province along with a large cargo of weapons and military equipment.
The fresh forces joined their comrades on Wednesday as the Syrian army had earlier dispatched two other convoys of soldiers to Dara'a.
Hundreds of Syrian forces and a large batch of military supplies were sent to Dara'a province as it seems that pro-gov't forces were preparing to start a new anti-terrorism operation in the region.
Military sources also disclosed on Saturday that the Syrian Army forwarded a large volume of modern military equipment to its borders with Jordan to reinvigorate its forces' imminent operation in the Southern province of Dara'a.
The sources announced that a large number of the Scud-b (Golan) missile launchers and tanks were sent to Dara'a to join the army's imminent operation to recapture the Southern parts of Dara'a city that are still under terrorists' control.
According to military sources, the pro-government forces are now in the preparation stage for a special operation to completely liberate the Dara'a city and recapture Jumrak border crossing to Jordan.
Media sources reported that unprecedented angst has covered the entire terrorist-held regions in Dara'a city after arrival of a large number of fresh Syrian Army soldiers and armored vehicles in the Southern city.
Media sources affiliated to the terrorist groups said that arrival of a huge number of army men and armored vehicles in Dara'a city has pushed the militants in different neighborhoods of the city into deep fear.
