Zionist regime violates Gaza ceasefire
Tehran, Israeli warplanes bombarded eastern Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire just hours after it was established between Palestinian resistance movements and Tel Aviv.
There has been no immediate report on possible casualties caused as a result of the Israeli air raids, Aljazeera broadcaster reported on Sunday morning.
The Zionist regime of Israel, prior to the ceasefire, had attacked Gaza several times on Saturday and Friday. The raids claimed lives of two Palestinian minors.
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas retaliated by targeting the Occupied Territories with rockets.
Hamas and the Islamic Jihad announced on Saturday evening that they have reached a ceasefire with the Zionist regime of Israel after a day of intense clash that left two minors killed and 15 others injured, media reported.
Islamic Jihad spokesman Daoud Shihab said that the ceasefire in Gaza was reached following a series of contacts and mediations by some players, including Egypt, on Saturday evening.
The clash along the Gaza Strip border with the Occupied Territories of Palestine got intensified on Friday evening.
The air raids come amid the most brutal aggression of the Israeli forces against Palestinians who are holding the Great Marches of Return on Gaza borders. The protest began on March 30, 2018.
At least 137 Palestinians, including children, reporters and medics, were killed by the Israeli forces as a result of the deadly aggression.
Some 15,000 protesters have been injured by the live fire of the Zionist forces.
