Healthcare Providers Praise Advanced Experiences at Clinical Simulation Week

The second day of the Clinical Simulation Week, organized by the Riyadh Clinical Simulation Center (RCSC) at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, witnessed a remarkable participation of healthcare providers who said they were grateful for the modern technologies adopted to boost clinical skills, the quality of care, and patient safety.

At the event, interactive workshops on the latest clinical simulation experiences that hone healthcare providers’ practical skills and help them deal with complex health scenarios were held.

A specialized workshop was held on the art of moulage, in which medical practices and diseases are simulated for the purpose of training.

Moulage enables students and healthcare practitioners to practice first aid, provide care with high efficiency, and reduce the risk factors in dealing with emergency health cases.

An exhibition was held during the event, in which the latest technologies and innovations in clinical simulation were displayed. These innovations were developed in cooperation with national and international simulation centers seeking to raise the quality of healthcare in the Kingdom.

The attendees expressed appreciation for the support provided by the wise leadership to the health sector, stressing that such events help achieve the Saudi Vision 2030 goal of improving the efficiency of healthcare services.

RCSC is one of the most prominent centers in the Kingdom and the region; it provides advanced practical training using the latest medical simulation tools to enrich medical education and develop national competencies in this vital field.
