Liv Golf and Roshn Saudi Launch Potential Unleashed Initiative to Support Local Community

Jeddah, Liv Golf and Roshn Saudi have launched the “Potential Unleashed” initiative, in cooperation with Al-Awn Center, to empower people with disabilities, with the aim of achieving a sustainable positive impact on the local community in all the countries that host Liv Golf tournaments.

Meanwhile, Swedish player Henrik Stenson and American Jason Kokrak provided a training session to a group of children and youths from Al-Aoun Centre during their visit to the Royal Greens Club course in King Abdullah Economic City, in conjunction with the Liv Golf Championship, in which 48 of the world’s elite golfers participate.

Social Responsibility Director at Roshn Group Mohammed Ashour said that the group “is proud” to participate in supporting the “LIV-Ability” initiative, with Live Golf, through the social responsibility program “Yohyeek”, noting that the participation of star professionals from the Liv Golf League, their contribution, imparting their experience to children and interacting with them “is truly motivating”, adding that seeing the enthusiastic reactions from the children “is priceless”, and a “perfect start” to the coming months of continued support.

American Stinson said after the training session that giving children and young people the opportunity to experience the sport of golf, and engaging in sporting activities at Royal Greens “is a wonderful thing, especially since community participation and contribution are a pivotal part of the sport of golf”.
