Nablus – Ma’an – Ghassan Daghlas, governor of the West Bank city of Nablus, said on Saturday that the autopsy of American activist Aisha Nour Azgi Aygi proved that she was killed by an Israeli sniper’s bullet to the head.
Douglas added to Anadolu Agency that the autopsy was performed last night at the Forensic Medicine Institute at An-Najah University in Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
He confirmed that “the results proved that activist Nour was shot in the head by an Israeli sniper,” without further details about the content of the report and its other results.
On Friday, Palestinian officials suggested that the killing of Turkish-American activist Aisha Nour was intentional, carried out by an Israeli sniper.
According to information obtained by Anadolu Agency from sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry on Friday, Palestinian officials shared information with the Turkish consulate in Jerusalem regarding the killing of activist Aisha Nour.
Officials said the activist may have been deliberate
ly targeted by an Israeli sniper, and that the bullet used was real, not plastic.
