To the Volleyball Nations League, Iran have suffered their fourth consecutive defeat after going down 3 sets to 1 against Brazil.
The Iranians got off to a slow start and surrendered the opener 25-19. However, they fought back to take the second set 25-23 and give themselves some hope of a major upset against table-toppers Brazil.
But those hopes faded with a 25-19 reverse in the third set and were snuffed out when the Iranians forfeited the fourth 25-21. Iran are currently eighth in the table with five wins and six defeats. Today, They will line up against top-four-contenders Slovenia in the hope of arresting their recent poor run of results.
