The first conference for youth and human rights kicked off Saturday 10/8/2024 under the theme "Together Towards Enhancing Role of Youth in Promoting Values and Concepts of Human Rights in the New Republic". Co-organized by the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) and the European Union (EU), the inauguration of the event was attended by Ambassador Moushira Khattab, the president of the National Council for Human Rights as well as heads of NGOs, students unions and syndicates. The conference tackles the importance of economic and social rights for youth as well as the direct relation between the economy, human rights and development, alongside the role of youth in promoting sustainable development.
